£14.88 per hour 

Class 1 days  - Average start time 4am onwards 

Min 2 years’ experience required with a max of 3 points 

The role involves:

Vehicles are 44 ft trailers with stillages with extra straps to secure the load.
Vehicles have trackers and sat navs.  0400 starts on average with shift lengths of 10 to 11 hrs – no nights out
Customers include new homes and building sites - no domestic or retail
All  Artic work is 95 per cent FLT with between 1 to 4 drops
Drivers MUST be fastidious with paperwork, they are still on manual methods whereby  2 copies of paperwork and delivery notes MUST RELIGIOUSLY be SIGNED  for and taken back to site

You will need:

• HGV Class 1 Driving Licence with 2 years’ experience

• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Cards.
• You must be over 25 years of age This criteria is a must for insurance purposes.
• Good communication skills (both written and verbal)
