This role encompasses responsibilities in both patient and non-patient areas, providing direction, guidance, and support to maintain cleanliness and hygiene within the hospital and associated spaces.
Your role involves being responsive to service needs, consistently seeking improvement in productivity and quality. All tasks must align with health, safety, security, and company policies, including infection control.

Key Responsibilities
- Ensure the vehicle is roadworthy and safe before, during and after use, and complete relevant documentation within the prescribed frequencies
- Complete accurate records for company systems including, sickness procedures, quality monitoring, training and staff performance monitoring
- Liaise with operative staff under your control by way of discussions and regular team meetings. i.e. Performance Reviews, Job Chats, Return to Work discussions and accident and other investigations
- Effectively supervise, train, motivate, discipline, and ensure the safety, and general welfare of staff under your control in accordance with the necessary policies, procedures including the Training Plan
- Organise and allocate staff under your control to carry out the cleaning and maintenance of all hygiene standards within a designated area. Ensure that the work schedule and quality standards are adhered to in line with the specification
- Order, control, monitor and issue relevant uniform, equipment, keys, materials and other goods as required by the staff under your control to carry out their duties effectively
- Manage the safe storage and maintenance of appropriate stock and supplies and to ensure that these are available as required within the designated area

- MS Office – beginner /intermediate
- Experience of staff rotas
