Job title :Client Account Support

About the company: Bright Lights offers a range of marketing-related support services to small and medium-sized companies. Our clients are primarily in the following sectors: Insurance and financial services, Data Governance, Professional Development and tech products and services.

We are a small, fully remote, team working both independently and collaboratively for our clients for whom we provide a varied range of support services. We help them manage their workload and grow their business. We believe the success to our working partnerships is founded on forming strong relationships and this we strive for both internally and externally.

The Role: We are looking for an all-rounder: Someone with a hands on, can-do attitude who loves learning and variety and, with training, can see themselves getting involved with the following:

  • Assisting in maintaining and cleaning databases
  • Supporting lead generation activities (absolutely no sales involved)
  • Contributing to the creation and distribution of marketing materials, such as newsletters, mailers, and digital content
  • Helping coordinate online and in-person events; managing logistics and attendee engagement
  • Performing open-source research to support client projects and marketing strategies
  • Assisting in the production of visually engaging content, including slide decks, graphics, video and other promotional materials
  • Participating in project coordination, including scheduling meetings, drafting agendas, and maintaining project documentation

The person:The successful candidate will support the senior team members in this often fast paced and varied role. We are looking for someone who is happy throwing together a simple spreadsheet one minute, editing a video the next or doing both at the same time - yes we need someone capable of multi-tasking! You are likely to work on multiple Client Accounts performing a variety of tasks which keeps things interesting. You don't necessarily need experience as we will provide training, however you do need to possess the following skills/qualities:

  • Microsoft Office and/or Google Workspace competency
  • Strong aural and written communication
  • Be highly organised, efficient and able to prioritise
  • Be flexible and adaptable
  • Have a strong attention to detail
  • Possess an aptitude and desire for learning
  • Hold a positive, enthusiastic, friendly attitude
  • Be self motivated but also a real team player; comfortable working both independently and collaboratively
  • Have a great service ethos

Working remotely requires a greater level of independence, initiative, trust, and communication than when office based and isn't for everyone. We work hard to foster a lovely team spirit and that comes largely from us all being able to rely on each other and being willing to 'have a go', jump in and help where we can. Being a 'good fit' is as valuable to us as any skills or experience you may have.

The terms: This is initially a part time role with a self-employed contract. We are looking for someone who can commit to 10-15 hours per week (with additional hours potential in future if desired) and, for the right candidate, this could grow to a part or full time employed position.

The role offers a great deal of flexibility to suit most parenting schedules or other priorities and we are looking for someone to start as soon as possible. This is a fully remote role.
