SalaryA tremendously exciting opportunity to join this growing and long-established independent firm of Accountants based in Mid-Kent as a Client Manager.
The firm are well known in the local area and is currently growing organically at a rate of 10% per year.
They represent a full selection of clients ranging from the small sole trader right through to large and more complex group company structures and UHNWI’s.
As a Client Manager and part of the senior leadership team, you day to day duties will include the following:
- Responsible for your own portfolio of clients, reporting to the Partners.
- Undertaking and reviewing compliance tasks for your clients, including preparation of accounts, corporation tax returns and personal tax returns.
- Reviewing the work of more junior staff members and assisting them with their development.
- Undertaking and reviewing bookkeeping, VAT returns and management accounts for clients using cloud software.
- Acting as the first point of call for clients on day-to-day queries and supporting the Partners with more complex tax or planning tasks.
What about you?
- You will be ACA/ACCA qualified, or equivalent with a career background and strength within accounts and tax, and all-around general accountancy practice service delivery to wide-ranging sole trade, partnership and limited company clients, developed within an accountancy practice environment.
- You will have at least 5 years of experience within Practice.
- Experience in IRIS, Xero, Sage or QuickBooks would be advantageous.
