Job description

Do you want a job where you can make a real difference to people’s lives?

The EMS Group are a people-first organisation. We are a team that care about each other, the world around us and the work that we do.

From being part of the NHS Galleri early cancer detection trial, to providing mobile COVID testing centres for Randox and educating communities on the signs and symptoms of cervical cancer with Jo’s Trust charity.

Working at The EMS Group is varied, but every project we are part of has one thing in common, it’s about helping people.

2022 HSJ Partnership Awards ‘Best Healthcare Provider Partnership with the NHS’ finalist, our continued work with the NHS and healthcare organisations are part of our committed effort to making a difference to people’s lives.

Want to join us as our new Client Operations Administrator

Starting salary of £22,389

As our new Client Operations Administrator, you will have the opportunity to work on exciting, new, high profile projects. You will be working as an integral part of the Operations team to support the profitable, efficient and meticulously executed delivery of client and healthcare projects globally. Managing schedules, logistical administration, route planning, site booking, customs clearances, and site database.

In return, you’ll enjoy the lifestyle benefits that come with flexible working. You’ll get to grow your career in an industry accelerating at pace. You’ll feel pride at working for an employer committed to charity work and environmental awareness. And you’ll be limited only by your own ambition, with development and progression opportunities a key part of our culture.

Who are we looking for?

You need to be a natural organiser with excellent time management and strong communication skills. Strong administration is needed to meet the requirements of balancing tasks and meeting the needs of all clients. Working with client briefs, this role will require you to have a strong attention to detail and being committed to ‘making anything’ possible with a ‘can do’ attitude. Furthermore, we want you to be able to manage complex requirements whilst maintaining realistic outcomes and understanding the EMS proposition and our services. Having a strong geographic and logistical perception is also beneficial. We want you to bring a minimum of 12 months experience within an office/administrator role, further to that, strong IT skills and languages would be desirable.

Since 2021, we’ve tripled the number of employees at The EMS Group. We have varied departments to complete projects in-house. From the initial sales call to the designs, production facilities, operational team, project managers and clinical staff on board our units.

But we’ve not compromised on doing what our CEO always set out to when establishing EMS back in 2000. Working hard is important, but having fun is what makes …

From trips away to Rome and Amsterdam. To monthly events both in and outside the office. Our FUNdation team plan events throughout the year, and if you join us, you could join them.

We’re just passengers on this planet and we want to leave it better than we entered. That's why we have a designated Sustainability Taskforce who work to reduce our impact on our surroundings and make a positive difference

Benefits

You work hard for us; we work hard for you. It is that simple. And we know, it sounds too good to be true (we hear that a lot). But trust us, this could be the best decision you make.

• Flexible hours and days negotiable (up to FTE of 39.5)

• Bank holidays, plus 25 days annual leave, increasing to 28 after 5 years

• 1 Occasion Day each year; this could be your child’s first day of school, their nativity play, or your own birthday – the choice is yours!

• Opportunity to buy 3 additional annual leave days

• Bonus scheme enabling every employee up to 10% salary bonus per year

• Company events ranging from weekends abroad (previously Rome, Morocco, and Amsterdam), to office activities and team building days

• Healthshield scheme funded by The EMS Group, where you can claim back health treatments including dental, physiotherapy and massages
