As Clinical Lead, you will hold responsibility for the clinical management of a range of counselling and related services, managing and supporting a team of counsellors and a small team of supervisors and leads. You’ll ensure high quality services and client care within service requirements, monitor and evaluate outcomes and be designated safeguarding lead. You’ll work closely with the Chief Executive to manage, develop and expand our clinical services.
It’s an exciting time to join us. In this new post, you’ll play a key role in achieving our plans to grow and make more positive impact on the relationships and wellbeing of local people. Over the next year this includes building the counselling team and placement scheme, raising awareness of our individual counselling offer and reopening our Wolverhampton centre.
To be successful you’ll be an experienced counselling professional and supervisor, with a passion for leadership and clinical excellence and experience of working with both couples and individuals. You’ll have experience of managing and supporting clinical staff, managing safeguarding issues and of partnership working. You will have a collaborative, solution focussed attitude, working as part of a small, dedicated management team. Flexibility in working hours to meet service needs and manage risk or safety concerns is needed and some evening work will be required.
We offer ongoing development, 25 days leave, a pension scheme and access to Relate training where applicable to meet Relate Register requirements. Based at our Birmingham office, the role will involve visiting our other locations and attending external meetings, so some travelling will be necessary. One day a week may be worked from home.
