Fitness Manager
Location: Winchester
Hours: Monday – Friday with weekend availability.
Pay: £30,000 - £40,000 per year + fantastic benefits!
Dynamite recruitment is working in partnership with a well-established brand, that due to rapid growth are looking to hire a manager who can develop the business even further.
As a Fitness Manager you will be responsible for:
Managing a team to develop the brand further and push for excellent standards of customer service. You’ll need to use excellent communication skills to maintain retention of existing memberships and achieve on-boarding new clients.
Key duties include:
Oversee the centres day to day operations.
Handle discrepancies and resolve customer complaints to avoid escalation.
Growing the brand through new memberships and achieving sales expectations.
Training and motivating the team, to ensure the highest quality of customer service is implemented within the centre.
Maintain existing memberships by maintaining high standards of customer care and offering support where necessary.
Implementing strict Health & Safety requirements, completing full training, and overseeing staff knowledge of procedures.
Exceed brand standards through centre appearance.
Oversee the recruitment process within the team.
Offer additional support to team members, offering additional training.
Create a vibrant, inclusive, and dynamic environment.
The ideal Fitness Manager will have/be:
Previous managerial experience within fitness or hospitality.
Demonstrates strong administrative skills and knowledge of Microsoft Packages.
Excellent communication skills via telephone, email and face-to-face.
Prioritise workloads and have strong time-management skills.
Excellent attention to detail.
GCSE or equivalent qualification.
