What does the role involve?
EMBS Engineering is working in partnership with a leading, innovative precision engineering company in Hinckley that is showing no signs of slowing down.
Due to further growth and expansion, the business is seeking a skilled CMM Quality Inspector to join the company.
Due to our client's increased workload, they are looking to expand their inspection department and are therefore looking for a Quality Inspector to join their growing team and support with new and exciting projects.
Key Responsibilities:
* Performing manual / dimension inspection duties on sub-assembly components using hand tools
* Inspecting components at various stages
* Use of automated inspection equipment - CMM
* Interpreting data/reports from CMM
* Documenting results & findings
What experience do you need?
* At least 5 Years of Quality Inspection experience
* Inspected detailed machined components within a precision engineering / advanced manufacturing environment for industries such as; Defence, Nuclear, Oil & Gas, Sub Sea, Motorsport, F1, Power etc. will also be considered
* Ability to perform inspection activities using manual measuring equipment
* Able to load programs, operate and run a CMM and interpret results/findings
* Experience of carrying out First off and Final Inspection
* Confidence in identifying non-conforming products
* Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
* Strong attention to detail and capable of multi-tasking
* Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team

* Hourly rate: Circa £16.50 per hour
* Day Shift
* Overtime available at premium rate
