Job Title: Quality Inspector
Location: Leicestershire
Shift: Mon - Thurs: 08:30am - 5:30pm and Friday: 08:30am - 4:00pm
Salary: £14 per hour

The Company:
A National Pre-cast Concrete Company specialising in the design and construction for all types of buildings and structures are looking to recruit 1 permanent Quality Inspector to join their expanding team.
The Candidate:
Previous experience in a quality inspection position (pre-cast concrete experience desirable but not essential)
Previous experience with any of the following quality inspecting tools: vernier, calipers, steel rulers, tape measures, laser length measuring tools, angle finders and concrete cover meters.
Good IT skills for recording of results.
The Quality Inspector Role:
You will be responsible for overseeing production processes, to ensure that the quality of the end product meets the required standards. You will collaborate with the Production, Finishing and Despatch departments to conduct inspections before beams are despatched to site. You will ensure that any defects or improvements are identified and communicated.
Main Duties/Responsibilities:
Engage production teams in quality management processes and drive a continuous improvement culture.
Inspection of product at all stages of production in accordance with the FTB Inspection Test Plan (ITP)
Identification of defects, nonconformance and opportunities for improvement within the production processes. Assistance in root cause analysis and corrective action activities.
Participate in internal and external accrediting body audits in relation to FTB's, BS EN ISO 9001, CE/UKCA conformity and CARES certification
