Description:
Our client who are based in Totton and manufacture a comprehensive range of integrated facade components are looking for a CNC operator / setter to work on the Night Shift.
Details below:
- Setter/Operator for Bystronic Xact Smart Pressbrake machines
- Must have experience running this type of machine
- Create and enter CNC programmes into the Pressbrake controller
- Set the machine using the correct tooling appropriate to the programme/component
- Manipulate component and machine to form components to drawing
- Check and inspect the folded component to the drawing and adjust as necessary
- Must be able to read and understand engineering drawings and understand the development of sheet metal components
- Counterbalance forklift licence is essential
- Heavy lifting involved
- Flexibility to carry out other duties in the factory as and when required
- Own transport is essential
- Current first aid certificate – Desirable not essential
Working hours are Monday to Thursday 17:30 to 05:30. Enhanced pay rate of £14.01 per hour, plus overtime kicks in at 40 hours = 6 hours of overtime a week.
