SalaryOne of the leading manufacturers of construction equipment worldwide, JCB, is looking for skilled CNC Machinists to join their site in the Staffordshire area.
The basic rate is 16.09 per hour, and overtime is paid at time and a half.
Shift allowances are paid in addition to hourly rate, where applicable.
Operation/Setting of CNC Machines, and working to tight tolerances. All machine work will be completed according to written JCB Standard Operating Procedures.
You will be familiar with the following:
- Understanding how to load/unload components into fixtures correctly.
- Working to standard operating procedures.
- Having awareness of implications if not loaded correctly into fixtures.
- Ability and understanding of the use and maintenance of gauges and measuring equipment required to be used.
- Hard /electronic micrometres, spirit levels,
- DTIs and surface finish gauges.
- Correct use of hand tools that are required to be used and the maintenance of hand tools
