SALARY

• 17.00 to 20.00 per hour (dependent on experience).
• DAYS ROLE - 4 1/2 days working week.
• Overtime available (invitational).
• 25 days holiday (excluding public holidays).

JOB SUMMARY

Alecto Recruitment are searching for a skilled CNC Machinist to join our clients highly experienced machining workforce. A company at the leading edge of technology providing a complete engineering service to all industry sectors. Machining the highest of quality products for customers both UK and internationally. They have built up and maintained a high standard of quality and efficiency that excels in the manufacturing sector and now due to growth and expansion are looking to reach other sectors.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Proficiently program, set and operate CNC Milling machines.
• Have working knowledge with either EdgeCam, MasterCam and /or Autodesk.
• Be confident using 5 axis machines.
• Read engineering drawings to establish machine adjustments and material requirements with 100% accuracy.
• Be proactive working unsupervised.
• Setting complex jobs and working to tight tolerances.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

• Experienced CNC Miller with a minimum of 5 years' experience or academically trained and qualified.
• The ability to read, interpret and manufacture from technical drawings.
• Good communication skills and the ability to integrate into a fast-paced working team of machinists.
• Confident programming working with CAD/CAM software packages.
• Self-inspection using either handheld tools and / or CMM software.
