CNC Machinist
Location: Aberdeen, AB21 0GS
Salary: Starts on Dayshift at a rate of £18.34 and once confident changes to nightshift at a rate of £20.34
Contract: Full time, Permanent

We are now recruiting for a CNC Machinist to machine items to specification using our programme operated machines.
In addition to this as our CNC Machinist you will be responsible for:
- Comply with all the organisations HSEQ policy and procedure requirements - including Risk Assessments, PPE Instructions and other Safe Working Instructions.
- Conduct pre-use visual checks on machines prior to commencing work.
- Check condition of cables of equipment prior to commencing work activities.
- Maintain a clean and tidy work area before, during and after completing work.
- Examine own work, checking for defects to ensure conformance with drawings and specifications
- Record work activity on Job Cards &, Production Reports (and any other documentation as and when instructed).
- Production/manufacturing operations
- Manufacture of components utilising manually operated: REL3171 CNC Lathe - XYZ, REL3173 CNC Mill - SMX 5000, REL3540 CNC Mazak FH 880, REL3155 Sterling Band Saw, REL3176 Drill - Walker, REL3177 Pedestal Grind Wheel - AJH
In order to be successful in this role you must have:
- The ability to set-up, programme (PROTRAK) and operate CNC Lathe/Mill.
- No formal qualification required - recognition of previous experience and on-the-job assessment.
- The ability to work in both Metric & Imperial units.
- An understanding of drawings / technical data
