SalaryReed Engineering are working alongside our client who service the oil and gas industry that are looking to add a CNC Machinist to their team on a permanent basis. You will be based in the Ellon area of Aberdeen.
Hours: Monday - Friday 7am - 3.30pm
Rate: GBP18 - GBP23p/hour, Over-time 1.5x up to 60hrs and 2x thereafter
Daily Duties -
- Operate computer-controlled machine to cut, make, and manufacture precision parts
- Load and unload material, set up and operate a CNC machine
- Assisting in Quality control of parts and stock control
- Ensuring that operating policies and procedures are adhered to
- Basic servicing and maintenance of equipment
- General house keeping
Candidate Requirements -
- Recognised apprenticeship in a technical discipline preferred
- Minimum 4 years' experience within a machine shop environment
- Driving Licence
