SalaryCNC Machinist required to join a well-established Manufacturer based in the Redditch area. The successful candidate will be assisting with the CNC Turning and CNC Milling as well as working on pressings, ensuring the highest standards of quality and efficiency.
CNC Machinist Position Overview
- Set up and operate CNC Lathes and Milling machines
- Interpret technical drawings and specifications to ensure accurate production.
- Select and install appropriate tooling for each job, considering material specifications and machining requirements.
- Develop and modify CNC programs as needed to optimize machining processes.
- Conduct in-process inspections to ensure the dimensional accuracy and quality of machined parts.
- Continuously monitor and optimize machining processes for efficiency and productivity.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a secure working environment.
- Perform routine maintenance on CNC machines to ensure optimal functionality.
CNC Machinist Position Requirements
- Programming setting and operating experience is highly advantageous (however they are willing to train someone that has some machining experience is willing to learn)
- Hurco controls experience is also highly advantageous
- Must live within a commutable distance of Redditch
CNC Machinist Position Remuneration
- Full time - Permanent position
- Monday to Friday - 08:00am to 17:00pm (2pm finish on Fridays)
