Responsibilities:
- Set up and execute CNC machines in line with specifications.
- Interpret engineering drawings and job orders accurately.
- Utilise CAD/CAM software like SolidWorks to program machines.
- Monitor machine operations for seamless functionality.
- Conduct thorough inspections of finished products for quality assurance.
- Adjust machine settings as required for optimal output.
- Undertake routine machine maintenance for sustained performance.
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and enhance processes
Skills: To excel in this role, you should possess:
- Proficiency in CAD/CAM software, particularly SolidWorks, for CNC machine programming
- Knowledge of power tool operation and safety protocols
- Hands-on experience with plastics injection moulding and tooling
- Capability to weld and assemble components as necessary
- Strong mathematical acumen for basic calculations
- Familiarity with the proper usage of hand tools
