We have an exciting opportunity for a CNC Machinist to join a small, busy and perfectly formed team in Ipswich. They are extremely well established and have been for nearly 50 years!
Your daily duties include:
- Set, operate and programme the machines.
- Create and work from technical drawings.
- Write, store, and recall existing programmes.
- Continuous improvement to part production.
- Monitor the tool wear during cycles.
- General maintenance of the machines and workshop.

The position is Mon- Fri with a 1pm finish every Friday! This company are family owned and run which you notice as soon as you walk in the front door, the whole team are very friendly and welcoming. Training can be provided to help you reach the best professional version of yourself. Its an incredibly varied day to day due to the wide range of production that is exported around the world. what were looking for.
The ideal candidate will have 2+ years machine shop experience along with the ability to read, understand and create engineering drawings. This position is for someone who has a real interest in getting involved in all aspects of the business and producing parts to a high standard.
