MACHINIST
An innovative Engineering Company based in Lowestoft, Suffolk, providing specialist inspection
(NDT) equipment, we are looking to fill the following position:-
CNC Machinist Turning and Milling
You will be responsible for the day-to-day duties within our busy machine workshop.
You will be required to work both supervised and unsupervised to manufacture components to controlled drawings, to a very high
standard. You may also be required to complete some mechanical assembly and quality inspection of goods to meet the demands
of the business.
This role will require the individual to be innovative, be creative and forward thinking and be able to work using your own initiative.
- Experience/Qualified in both manual and CNC machining using both milling and turning disciplines.
- Be able to interpret drawings and convert these into CNC machining programs.
- Have good interpersonal and organisational skills, with the ability to work to tight deadlines.
- Plan, manage and prioritise your workload to meet deadlines.
- Provide support to all JME departments as and when required.
- Ensure that products comply with relevant standards, regulations and safety.
- Work to our ISO 9001 quality system.
- Work within our health and safety policy.
- From time to time, you may be requested to work closely with customers and suppliers.
- Ideally have a full clean driving licence, as van duties may be required.
PACKAGE
Salary- Negotiable dependent on experience
Hours: Monday to Friday 08:00am to 17:00pm. (may vary)
