CNC Machinist
Stroud-Night Shift- Permanent - Fulltime-Shift Premium -Enhanced Overtime rate
My clients Is looking for multiples Machinists that can set and operate CNC machines in a production environment, ensuring the top quality within given timescale.
The role:
- Set and operateCNC machinesusingset up sheets, tooling,programmes provided.
- Self-inspect, including quality, cleaning, and de-burring.
- Report any manufacturing errors to line manager so corrective action can be agreed.
- Ensure that production requirements are met in line with the production schedule.
- Continually assess tool condition andmaintainas necessary.
- Always looking at decreasing run times and decreased down times through good set ups and enablement coupled with personal motivation.
- Excellent attention to detail and possess the drive to learn and develop.
- Team player with the ability to work using your own initiative.
- Positive attitude, good time keeping and a willingness to be flexible.
The Person:
- Motivated, highly organised CNC machinist.
- Manual machining experience - advantage
- Experience using a variety of inspection equipment including verniers, callipers.
- Experience in productionmachiningenvironment.
- Experienced working with Duplex, Nickel Alloy materials
- Computer literate, goodnumeracy,and literacy skills.
