CNC MACHINIST - PROGRAMMER / SETTER / OPERATOR

Alecto is recruiting for a skilled CNC Machinist - Programmer / Setter / Operator to work within a prestigious repair and service precision engineering company. Working from their state-of-the-art premises in the Preston area, serving customers within the Yorkshire area and beyond.

SALARY:

• £15.00 TO £17.00 PER HOUR
• DAYS ROLE - Monday to Thursday 07:30am - 16:30pm / Friday 07:30am - 13:45pm
• Ongoing training and support throughout
• A good variety of work on a day-to-day basis

REQUIREMENTS:

• The client is looking for an experienced and skilled CNC Machinist from either bias background of Milling or Turning.
• To have programming working knowledge with HAAS and / or SIEMENS controls.
• Can read and interpret technical engineering drawings.
• An independent machinist to work well under own supervision and a team player to help the machining shop floor when/where needed.

THE ROLE:

• Programming, setting, and operating of the CNC machines, loading and unloading of parts.
• Maintaining the highest levels of quality standards which are integral to the manufacturing process.
• Ability to resolve queries and problems to best of knowledge before escalating.
