Our client based in the Havant area is looking to recruit an experienced CNC Machinist to work at their modern and new premises.

This role is responsible for the design and manufacture of the product and involves all aspects from customer requirements. This concerns the design and manufacture of the tooling components for their specific products
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Self-driven initiative maintaining tools and machinery, working with suppliers to maintain appropriate stock levels
- Maintain a database of drawings and Standard Operating Procedures in the document management system
- Work with sales team and customers to identify their machine requirements, creating a concept based on provided samples
- Plan manufacturing, assembling electrical, pneumatic and mechanical component
- Test finished assemblies with customer samples whilst providing effective communication on achieved results
- Provide telephone support regarding any failures of the tube applicator machines or components, managing repairs or replacement
- You will assist in the achievement of Company KPI targets and engage in continuous improvements to achieve this
- Responsible for maintaining Health and Safety and cleanliness of the manufacturing facility
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Experience in safe working whilst following Good Manufacturing Practices
- Experienced in reading and understanding manufacturing drawings to produce components
- Proficient in using Solidworks 3D CAD software to create or edit designs
- Experienced with CNC lathes, mills and other machine shop equipment to produce Delrin/Acetal components according to drawings
- Experienced in table-top machine assembly
- Good communication skills working with a wider team or customers
