Job Title: Skilled CNC Machinist- Permanent
Location: Thetford
Hours of Work
Monday to Thursday 8.30am - 5pm
Fridays 08.30 - 3pm
Technique Recruitment Solutions are a specialist Engineering & Manufacturing recruitment company based in Norfolk. We are working with a Thetford based client who specialise in machining and fabricating plastics and Metals.
Main roles and responsibilities:
The ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
Competent on all aspects of setting tools, including having an understanding of cutting speeds and feeds.
Programming and operating a CNC Milling Machine
Working on varied types of work using different materials including plastic and stainless with a variety of batch sizes, predominantly small batch work
Working on 3 and 4 axis
Requirements:
Have experience operating and programming CNC Mills
Experience running multi axis CNC milling machines.
Ideally with experience programming and operating HAAS and HURCO machines
Ideally experience using ONECNC or similar software
Experienced programming using offline software, be able to create programmes independently
Ideally knowledge of 4th/5th axis s would be preferred
Experience working with plastics and stainless is a advantage.
