Cnc Operator

Acorn by Synergie is currently recruiting for a CNC Programmer/Operator with furniture and joinery experience to program and operate a SCM Morbidelli M100.

Responsibilities:

* CNC 3-Axis & 5-Axis Programming/Operating.

* Ability to read and interpret drawings.

* Background working with flatbed CNC Machines

* Knowledge of Maestro software and Morbidelli machines.

* Working with the following materials MDF, MFC, Block core doors, chip board doors, trespa.

* Importing drawings in DXF format.

* Creating new jigs using dowels and cams.

* Set up tooling and fixtures for production run

Knowledge and experience:

* Background in Furniture and Product Design.

* Furniture and Joinery construction.

* Able to operate a wide variety of wood machines and to have operational qualifications.

* Knowledge of a wide variety of timbers, veneers and manufactured boards and sub-straights.

* High personal standards of work and presentation.

* Excellent planning, organisation, and prioritisation skills.

* Comfortable working with lead times
* Apply mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and resolve issues with CNC machine

Hours - Monday - Thursday 08:00 - 16:30, Friday 08:00 - 15:30

Pay - Negotiable depending on experience.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: From £17.00 per hour
