SalaryManpower are urgently recruiting for a CNC Press Brake Operator for our client based in Nottingham.
This is a temp to perm position with the client taking you onto a permanent contract after 12 weeks
Rate £14.27 start.
7.30 am to 4.30pm 30 mins lunch Monday to Thursday
Friday 7.30am to 1.30pm
Must have PPE footwear.
Candidate must have previous experience.
Details of role as below
Operating CNC machines ( e.g.; Trumatic 1000 sheetmaster, Amada HFB , Trumpf Press brake 3120,3100 & 3066) and their related equipment i.e. compressors, nitrogen generator etc.
Ability to set and run CNC machines.
Setting and operating press brake machines.
Fold cut parts as per drawings provided.
Ability to set and run all folding machines.
Carry out basic TPM (total preventive maintenance) on the machines - cleaning, sharpening, replacing slats, replacing air/water pipes etc.
Ability to schedule time efficiently to get maximum output i.e. break out when laser is running long program. Carry out short runs on punch when laser is running long program. Fold highest priority parts first when needed
Breaking out and quality checks on parts produced i.e. removing burrs, ensuring holes are cut out, checking sheet thickness and quality, ensuring fold angles and dimensions are correct.
Organise and control production for the folding team to ensure there is a smooth transition from one pallet of parts to the next.
Forklift trained.
Stock taking.
Managing stocks important to the day to day running of the area i.e. sheet metal, pallets, deionized water etc.
Controlling logistics goods inwards, checking goods coming in for quantity and quality, passing on delivery notes to the logistics team.
Keep area tidy and organised free from slip/trip/snag hazards.
Available to learn and understand the full Natgraph production process.
Any other duties the company sees fit to issue.
