Cnc Turner

Actio Recruitment are assisting one of our Engineering clients based in Gloucester with their search for a CNC Turner and/or CNC Sliding Head Machinist.

The Company

Our client is a successful subcontract precision engineering company who specialise in machining plastic and aluminium.

The Job

This company are looking for a CNC Turner and/or Sliding Head Programmer, Setter, Operator.

Duties will include:

• Programming using CAD/CAM

• Set and operate a variety of CNC lathes using Haas and/or Citizen controls

• Working to tight tolerances and first off inspections.

• Manufacture components from engineering drawings

• Daily machine maintenance

• Recording faults

The Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate for this position will be experienced in Programming, Setting and Operating CNC lathes with Haas and/or Citizen controls. Ideally will have experience with OneCNC or another CAD/CAM software.

Shifts

Monday to Thursday 8am to 4:30pm

Friday 8am to 3pm

Pay

£17-18/h depending on experience
