Job description
The dynamic nature and rapid development of digitisation across all areas of Belfast Trust means that the Trust is highly reliant on its digital infrastructure and systems to deliver safe and effective services. This is necessary to the delivery of a wide range of hospital and community services for local patients and service users as well as regional specialised hospital services to the wider population of Northern Ireland. This is also an area of increasing importance within the Trust as we move to a completely electronic patient record with the introduction of Encompass. .

A university degree or relevant professional qualification at graduate or diploma level in information communication technology and have worked for at least 3 years in a senior ICT management role reporting to an Assistant Director OR Have worked for a minimum of 5 years in a senior management position reporting to Assistant Director or equivalent within the organisation.Hold a full current driving licence which is valid for use in the UK with access to a car or access to a form of transport to meet mobility needs of the post.
