Here at Peabody, we have an opportunity for a Collections Assistant on a fixed terms basis at our Westminster Office.
A bit about the role:
As a Collections Assistant, you will provide administrative support to the team, to ensure the successful implementation and completion of team/departmental objectives and to ensure effective service delivery is achieved and maintained. Some of the key results for the role include:
- To undertake all general administrative and office duties e.g. data entry, logging, responding and general management of correspondence, diary and file management and raising IPOS orders on behalf of the team.
- To support the collection of Sub-Unit arrears to ensure all debits are collected effectively and in a timely manner and ensuring sub-units are ‘ended’ in the appropriate system whilst also liaising with the Neighbourhood team to inform ‘ending action’ required.
- To support the collection of Communal Boiler arrears to ensure all debits are collected effectively and in a timely manner.
- To run all system letters including Arrears and Direct Debits.
- To order and send Rent Cards for new tenancies and block sign-ups to our customers as and when requested
- To manage the administration of Electronic Statements.
- To process credit refunds by collating paperwork and carrying out checks with the relevant local authority benefit department and liaising with the tenant up to completion.
A minimum of 1 to 2 days working in the Westminster Bridge Road office is required
