In fact, it’s a big team effort and it’s why our Collections Assistant are so important.
This salary will be applicable from 1st April 2024.

What it's like to work here You'll report to the Site Manager at Nuffield Place, with support from the House and Collections Teams at our other portfolio properties. The Nuffield Team is a small and enthusiastic group who are passionate about the property, garden and story of Lord and Lady Nuffield, and the amazing things they achieved.We would love to hear from you if you are motivated to assist in telling this amazing story and inspire our visitors through displaying, caring for and preserving the collections.

What you'll be doingAs a Collections Assistant at Nuffield Place, you’ll be working in an incredible location, full of history and stories about Lord and Lady Nuffield, helping with the day-to-day cleaning and care of the collections. No detail will go unnoticed, and you’ll keep a keen eye on everything from the environmental conditions in a room, to signs of wear and tear. You’ll keep accurate records too and work with the Site Manager to keep the property looking its best for our visitors through the year.
We’d love you to talk to visitors about the work you’re doing, and the collections we have. You'll also be working with a team of dedicated volunteers, and will be supported by the wider team of employees and volunteers at our other sites, helping to cover where necessary.
