Location: Greater Manchester

Salary: Up to £40,000 - DOE + Parking, Progression & Development

We are working with a global insurance broker who are looking for an experienced Account Handler to join their close-knit team, working out of their Manchester office.

The Role:

As a Commercial Account Handler, you will be responsible for dealing with a wide variety of commercial clients, at new business, renewal and MTA stages. You will be dealing with SME through to large corporate clients, handling clients independently as well as supporting Executives with more complex cases.

There will be an element of face to face or virtual meetings with clients to assess insurance requirements, in order to secure best level of cover in line with those requirements.

The Required Skills:

Previous proven experience in Commercial Broking, with a wide range of General Commercial clients

Strong IT, Communication and Time management skills

Cert CII would be preferable however, support will be provided

Strong negotiation and rapport building skills

We are working with a national insurance broker who are looking for an experienced Account Handler to join their Manchester office.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a broker who have a fantastic name in the market for the service they provide to their clients, as well as the supportive and close-knit working environment they provide to their staff.

The Role:

As a Commercial Account Handler you will be responsible for supporting assigned account executives with the day to day running of their book of commercial clients for large complex cases, as well as having a portfolio of clients that you can manage independently.

You will be responsible for dealing with a range of Mid-market to Large Commercial/Corporate clients at new business, renewal and MTA stages. Assessing insurance requirements and placing cover and securing best premium.

The Required Skills:

Previous experience in a Commercial broker, dealing with a range of Commercial clients

Cert CII is preferable however, support will be provided

Strong Communication, time management and negotiation skills

Ability to work proactively and as part of a team
