Commercial Accountant - 9 Month Ftc

Quest Search & Selection are working for a retailer who is looking for a Commercial Accountant to support within this multi-faceted retail & food business. In this role you will need to provide business partnering support, including provision of management information and financial planning and analysis.

Your responsibilities as a Commercial Accountant role -

• Own daily, weekly, and monthly reporting for assigned Brand & Group level
• Perform period end close and review of all areas from Sales to EBITDA
• Preparation of Timely and Accurate Management Reports
• Preparation of Budgets and Forecasts
• Reconcile Balance Sheet for specific brands accounts
• System processing of invoices for designated brands
• Being involved in all Commercial analysis and insight
• Provide commercial business support to operations and brand leads
• Process invoices for designated brands in the system
• Resolving ad-hoc queries from operational & senior management that arise

To be successful in this Commercial Accountant role you will need -

• Someone who is available immediately available or available within a month (this is a 9 month contract initially)
• Qualified/Part ACCA, ACA, CIMA or via experience
• You must have experience of a management/financial/Commercial Accountant level at an analyst, manager or business partner level.
• Strong excel and finance systems knowledge / experience
• Exceptional organisational skills and ability to multi-task
• Ability to investigate, and resolve issues
• Open to travel and stay over night when needs in their Jersey office.
• Great communication/interpersonal skills
