Job Summary
This is a key finance role to be a strategic business partner for commercial cluster(s) in delivering profitable growth while providing a full spectrum of financial control. As a business partner the aim is to provide better insights through analysis, reporting and active communication. Evaluate changing market conditions within the market and analyse commercial effectiveness to drive growth and profitability. Main Responsibilities
- Supporting all financial matters supporting the Commercial Leaders to make optimal business decisions to drive growth and continuous profitability improvement.
- Support of delivering the commercial cluster Profit and Loss.
- Supporting the budget and forecasting processes of the commercial clusters(s) that meet the group requirements.
- To ensure month-end close and reporting activities are correctly and timely performed.
- Pricing analytics partnering with sales to make recommendations on pricing position.
- Analyze financial data, market trends and the performance of sales and marketing campaigns.
- Ensure that regular management reporting as well as requested reports are of high quality and adding value to the reader.
- Support balance sheet reconciliation for commercial related accounts.
- Support company’s financial accounting, reporting and control activities.
- Support year-end accounting, auditing & statutory accounts processes, through providing timely and accurate input (covering but not limited to, customer rebates, OPEX accruals, sales incentives) to meet the reporting requirements.
- Work closely with other team members and will provide cover where and when necessary.
- Routinely analyses data, investigate issues, identify solutions, and recommends actions based on business analytics to guide key business decisions.
- Support or responsible of projects that are commercial in nature.
- Has significant role in designing, implementing, and administering financial systems and procedures.
- Assists in the development of business policies and performance measures.
- Conducts special financial and business-related studies as requested by management.
- Leading an effective controlling team, providing coaching, mentoring and management through planning, monitoring and appraising job results and enabling the team to reach full potential.
- Perform any other reasonable duties required.
Preferred Experiences
- 2+ years’ experience in a multi-national environment.
- Experience in the international FMCG industry.
- Strong background with financial ERP (especially SAP) would be considered a plus.
- BPC & BI reporting experience preferred.
- All-round professional profile in Finance with strong business acumen.
