Job Title: Senior Accounts Assistant
Job Description for Senior Accounts Assistant:
We have the opportunity to join an established organization in the Bromsgrove area, you will be responsible for the accounts function within this SME business. This is a standalone position, the ideal candidate would have experience of being in a similar role previously and working within a business of a similar size. We are looking for a candidate who can work 20-30 hours per week with a pro rata salary of 28-32,000. Familiarity with SAGE is ideal and AAT qualification also desired but not essential.
Duties of Senior Accounts Assistant:

• Sales/ Purchase Ledger
• Generating credit notes as required
• Credit Control
• Processing expenses such as company car etc
• Purchasing euros for orders with foreign suppliers
• Bank Reconciliation
• Accounts payable
• Vat Return

Key skills and attributes of Senior Accounts Assistant:

• Had exposure and experience in all aspects of accounts
• Having experience working within a small family business accounts department would be beneficial.
• Excellent attention to detail and accurate.
• Able to work in a standalone role and use initiative to complete all tasks in a timely manner.
• Experience in foreign exchange preferable but not essential.
• Experience/exposure to month end would be preferable but not essential.
• Previous experience in an accounts department for a distribution company.
