Purpose of the Role:
To understand and approach business in terms of the clients insurance requirements and to design and administer insurance solutions for the protection of their material assets and liabilities.
Developing and retaining business you will have access to a wide range of market leading wholesale and insurer underwriters in order to place various types of commercial and personal insurance.
You will need to be able to use your business development skills to grow an existing book of business and excellent customer care skills to ensure the clients end to end journey exceeds their expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Account management and client relationship management
- Building and maintaining relationships with Insurer’s and Clients
- Gaining a strong understanding of client’s needs and identifying the product(s) that best suits their requirements
- Taking a consultative approach to selling, clearly explaining the benefits of the competitive products available
- Providing an excellent level of customer service that exceeds expectations
- Supporting the General Manager in order to increase sales and repeat business
- Identifying and understand clients requirement and offer tailored solutions
- Identifying account growth opportunity
- Providing an exceptional telephone experience for all customers and field personnel
- Contacting potential and existing customers by telephone to update them on new products and benefits
Skills:
- Self-motivated, commercially astute and be keen to maximize the opportunities available
- Commercial insurance broking experience
- Proven experience in an Account Management/Sales role
- Proven ability to deliver outcomes and meet targets
- Excellent track record of delivering exceptional customer service, putting the client’s needs at the heart of everything you deliver
- Confident communicator, free of jargon with an ability to communicate with clients across the globe
- Expert negotiation skills

- Cert CII qualified or a willingness to work towards
