Your New Role
In your role as a Commercial Finance Manager you will be in a control of Commercial Finance department’s day-to-day function. You will be required to provide support and guidance to ensure efficient and smooth running.
Review and improve organizational effectiveness by developing processes, overseeing employees, establishing a highly motivational work environment, and implementing innovative changes
You will be line managing and supporting a team of 4 highly dynamic staff.
Responsibilities
· Oversee department’s day-to-day running, assign weekly performance goals and ensure their completion, and accomplish your own goals.
· Ensure that the team works productively and develops professionally
· Provide support and guidance to the team within below key areas:
o Purchase ledger
o Sales Ledger
o Internal systems ( maintenance and development)
o Query resolution / Escalation point
· Provide contingency cover for any of the above adopting hands-on approach
· Provide support to HOD with ad hoc projects
What You'll need to Succeed
To achieve all of that, you will be able to demonstrate and show evidence of:
· Previous experience in E Commerce
· Proven success in a managerial role
· A minimum 3 years of experience in people management
· A minimum 5 years of experience with Purchase ledger and Sales ledger
· A minimum 5 years of using Financial / Accounting Systems
· Previous experience handling / dealing with Import Duty & Tax
· Previous experience of Financial reporting ( management accounts level )
Personal abilities/skills
· Strong decision – making ability
· Focused and self-motivated
· Excellent communication, collaboration, and delegation skills
· Ability to motivate and lead employees, and hold them accountable
· Strong working knowledge of Sales / COS / Revenue protection
· Abily to work under pressure
· Intermediate Microsoft Office skills
