Salary: 41,300 Per Annum
Overview:
First Military Recruitment are currently seeking a Commercial Manager on behalf of one of our clients.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• In conjunction with the Senior Commercial Manager and the Head of Commercial, manage the delivery of the commercial elements of the business objectives.
• Act as a commercial focal point to the central business teams and to the garrisons and provide commercial advice and support to their day-to-day activities.
• Provide commercial and legal support as required to business development, major works, and the contractual change/compensation event processes.
• Risk identification, management, and mitigation, including the preparation of commercial risk assessments for bids and proposals, and the development of innovative risk avoidance measures to ensure business objectives can be met.
• Support the delivery of the contract insurance claims process and investigations as required.
• Support the delivery of the annual insurance renewal process to ensure best value for money is achieved.
• Support procurement with the commercial review of supplier.
• Provide regular reports to the Senior Commercial Manager as agreed in a concise and user friendly format.

Skills and Qualifications:

• A minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Commercial Manager preferably in PFI and/or public sector service FM contracts.
• Experience of developing and delivering commercial strategy with strong business acumen and excellent negotiation skills.
• Have proven examples of commercial management ability within contracts which deliver multi-disciplinary business critical operational services covering the contract life cycle in complex organisational settings.
• MS Office Word for Windows and Excel at advanced level.
• A comprehensive understanding of commercial and contract law.
• Very high attention to detail with the ability to produce consistent
  high quality work within acceptable timescales.
