Commis Chef - Aylesbury
Pertemps Aylesbury is currently recruiting for a Commis Chef for our client based in Aylesbury.
Salary: 24,600 + service charge up to 3,000)
Hours: 48 hours (weekdays and weekends)
We are looking for someone working at Commis level in a fine dining environment; having recently completed an apprenticeship to NVQ2 or NVQ3 level.
The ideal candidate will be passionate about cooking, ensuring the highest standard of food preparation. They should work well with others, understand the importance of allergen regulations, and be able to maintain cleanliness and hygiene levels.
Our client will work closely to develop:
- Excellent culinary skills
- Interpersonal and communication skills and able to work as part of a team
- The ability to remain calm and work effectively under pressure whilst retaining a keen eye for detail
- Excellent time management
- Become fully compliant with basic food hygiene and allergens legislation and understand their importance in the kitchen
