We are seeking a dedicated Commis to join our team. The Commis will assist in food preparation, cooking, and overall kitchen operations. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about culinary arts and seeking to develop their skills in a professional kitchen environment.
Duties:
- Assist in food preparation under the guidance of the chef or senior kitchen staff
- Help with cooking tasks such as chopping vegetables, preparing sauces, and seasoning dishes
- Support in maintaining cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area
- Contribute to food production activities during service hours
- Follow all food safety and hygiene regulations
Experience:
- Previous experience in a restaurant or culinary setting is preferred
- Knowledge of basic food preparation techniques
- Strong interest in hospitality and culinary arts
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Basic leadership and supervising skills are a plus
