SalarySand Martins is a privately owned golf club in Finchampstead, Berkshire. The Club has a very active membership and a thriving food and beverage department, ita a lively and social able environment.
We are looking for an enthusiastic Chef to join the Brigade. You will join an established team of chefs and can develop your skills, we encourage staff to contribute their own ideas to the menu.
We cater for the members on a daily basis, in addition we have a very successful event arm of the business, catering for functions, weddings, golf days and various social events. There will be no two days the same!
Attitude and consistency are the main characteristics that we are looking for and with plans for a boutique hotel and extra functions facilities on the horizon it could be the perfect platform to start or continue to build your career.

Main responsibilities:
·To prepare, cook and deliver dishes from our various menus to the standard required.
·Ensuring all health, safety and food practices are consistently adhered to – Maintaining a safe and hygienic kitchen environment.
·To create & develop new dishes for our special menu's and assist with various functions.
·Always keep the kitchen clean and tidy and assist kitchen porter when required.
·Manage food rotation and storage, and check deliveries if receiving them.
Skills &attributes:
·To have a good understanding of all basic techniques, able to follow laid out instructions and a willingness to learn
·A friendly and positive attitude
·Self-motivated, proactive and reliable
·To be clean and tidy, conforming to all food and hygiene legislation
·The ability to remain calm under pressure

Meals and drinks on duty, and uniform available.

Pay: £28,000.00-£32,000.00 per year
