About us and the role
The Out of Hospital Team within Older Peoples Commissioning is seeking to recruit to a 12-month fixed term Commissioning Support Officer (CSO) post to cover maternity leave. This role plays a key role in supporting with tasks across the commissioning cycle including; sourcing, collating and the analysis of a wide range of information and data that will inform the development of commissioning options. Working with service providers to manage the care market effectively and engaging and coproducing with people who use services.
This CSO post will primarily support the commissioning of older people’s services including services jointly planned and commissioned with the NHS. The post holder will support a small team of Commissioners who lead the commissioning of services to support people in their own home, at the end of life and the commissioning of services that support the hospital discharge process.
