Responsibilities:

Market Expansion:

• Identify and assess new business opportunities within the Commodity Derivatives space, with a primary focus on gas & power or metals.
• Develop and implement strategic plans to open and expand markets across Europe and Asia.

Relationship Management:

• Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, regulatory bodies, and industry partners.
• Collaborate with internal teams, such as trading, risk management, and legal, to ensure seamless execution and compliance.

Market Research:

• Stay abreast of industry trends, market dynamics, and regulatory changes to provide insights that contribute to the development of effective market strategies.
• Conduct thorough research on potential clients and competitors to inform decision-making.

Product Origination:

• Collaborate with internal teams to originate innovative commodity derivative products that align with market demands and regulatory requirements.
• Work closely with the product development team to bring new offerings to market.

Risk Management:

• Assess and manage risks associated with market development activities, working in coordination with the risk management team.
• Implement risk mitigation strategies to ensure the sustainability and success of market initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.
• Proven experience in Commodity Derivatives, with a focus on gas & power or metals.
• Strong understanding of financial markets, trading strategies, and risk management.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for building and maintaining client relationships.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Familiarity with regulatory frameworks governing commodity markets in Europe and Asia.
• Willingness to travel as needed to meet clients, attend industry events, and explore new market opportunities.
