We are based in the North West of England and London and deliver early-intervention asset-based programmes to children and young people who have mental wellbeing challenges and are disengaged from school and more widely. We are well-known for our accredited Teens and Toddlers programme.
We support young people to get the most out of their education by helping them to improve their mental health and wellbeing and develop their skills. We inspire young people who are at significant risk of school exclusion to re-engage and fulfil their potential at school, at work and in life.
We are seeking a dynamic, ambitious and values-driven Communications Officer to provide communications and external affairs support to further raise the profile of Power2.
You will support the Head of Brand, Marketing and Communications to make the best use of digital platforms and systems to reach external audiences and you will produce high quality materials that convey our messaging to external audiences, in simple and attractive formats that align with our refreshed brand.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include supporting the management of the Power2 website, newsletters, content and assets, and oversight of our social media activity. You will also support fundraising, youth voice and other events that demonstrate our impact.
You’ll be passionate about helping young people to reach their full potential and about your own learning and development. You’ll also be keen to make your mark on a growing charity with an important mission.
We operate hybrid working, and this role will be based at our London office, with two days working in the office per week.
