The University of Cambridge is seeking an organised and committed individual to join the University's Environmental Sustainability Team as the Communications and Engagement Assistant.
The Environmental Sustainability Team is responsible for developing and implementing long-term plans to improve the University's performance across a wide range of areas of environmental sustainability.
This role will support the whole Environmental Sustainability Team's Communications and Engagement work, reporting to the Sustainability Engagement Manager but working across the team.
This position is not degree specific, but applicants must have a passion and some knowledge of climate and environmental issues. Candidates should have an interest and/or knowledge in communications, marketing or social media management. Candidates must have the ability to communicate complex concepts in a user-friendly way which is appropriate to the target audience, as well as well-developed organisational skills and the ability to establish and manage projects.
This is a great opportunity for someone with a passion for s and desire to potentially build a career in communications, engagement and/or Equality Diversity and Inclusion (EDI). Good audio-visual design skills; experience of working with developing visual resources would also be desirable.
