This is an exciting temporary opportunity for a Communications Coordinator to join a leading and globally recognised higher education institution!
Reporting to the Head of Alumni Relations and working closely with a variety of communications specialists across the Business School and as part of the wider College Alumni Communications & Marketing team, who work under the strategic leadership of the Director of Alumni Engagement, you will design and deliver the communications programme within the Business School’s Alumni Relations Office.
COMMUNICATIONS COORDINATOR ROLE:
- Developing engaging and compelling content for various communication channels, including newsletters, social media, website, and press releases
- Collaborating with faculty, staff, and students to highlight research, achievements, and events
- Managing and curating content for the university's social media platforms
- Drafting and distributing press releases, and coordinating media coverage for university events
- Facilitating internal communication initiatives to ensure information is effectively shared across departments and teams
- Assisting in the development of internal newsletters and announcements
- Coordinating communication strategies to promote university events, conferences, and initiatives
- Working collaboratively with event organizers to ensure effective promotion before, during, and after events
- Ensuring consistent and cohesive messaging in all communication materials
- Contributing to the development and maintenance of the university's brand identity
- Minimum 1.5 – 3 years of communications experience
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
- Excellent IT skills
