Communications Specialist – Maidenhead, Berkshire
£25,000 - £35,000 plus benefits
This is a great opportunity for a Communications Specialist to join a Design Agency based in Maidenhead. You will work across the entire portfolio of existing accounts, providing clients with consultancy and business storytelling on projects at a macro and micro level. This will cover a range of content-related tasks including but not exclusive to customer presentations, executive summaries, pitches, scripts, infographics, web copy, email campaigns, training content, GTM assets and internal communications. You may also be required to support on internal agency content from social posts to case study writing.

Duties Include
- Think into and understand the client communications objective, removing uncertainty and ambiguity and challenge briefs where needed, becoming expert in the client’s business to acquire the knowledge required to understand the subject matter.
- Build and maintain service quality and trust-based relationships with clients, working closely and collaboratively to meet objectives in dynamic business situations.
- Manage client and colleague expectation in relation to all timelines and deliverables, ensure agency production values and standards of accuracy.
- Collaborate with clients, attending meetings when required or participating in workshops to extract valuable insights.
- Create and edit various types of content for diverse clients, spanning presentations, scripts, web copy, email campaigns and more.
- Craft positioning statements capturing the essence of a client's business and offerings, resonating with the target audience.
- Develop compelling narratives by distilling complexity into clarity and presenting information in an easily understandable manner to transform client materials into engaging stories.
- Proofreading to ensure grammatical accuracy, adherence to brand tone of voice, and sentence and syntax consistency.
Skills and Experience Required
· Degree-level qualification – English, Psychology, Journalism or Marketing degree preferred.
· 2 to 4 years’ experience in a Design, Communications, Marketing or PR agency is essential.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including PowerPoint and Word.
· Strong communication and presentation skills.
· Collaborative attitude, open to feedback and able to provide constructive input.
· Attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in spelling, grammar, and content.
· Excellent organisational skills and effective time management to meet tight project deadlines.
· Problem-solving skills to make decisions based on limited information.
