It’s an exciting time to join the Community and Events team, as there is great potential to increase the impact our supporters can have on ending homelessness through developing an innovative and varied portfolio of fundraising products and activities.
Title: Community and Events Executive x2
Contract: Permanent x1 and 12 month fixed term contract x1
Hours: 35 hours a week
Location: London based - Working from home is an option in line with Crisis’ Hybrid Working policy
About the role
As Community and Events Executive, you will significantly contribute to and drive growth in Community and Events Fundraising. You will have joint responsibility for ensuring that the team income target (£2m in 22/23) is achieved, as well as a personal income target. As part of this role, you will be helping to roll out and embed Crisis’ new Community Fundraising strategy and developing our relationships and ways of working with individuals, groups, children and young people and charity of the year partnerships. There will also be opportunities to support the delivery of Crisis’ events programme including our Flagship Icebreaker event and the London Marathon.
About you
To be successful in this role you will have:
A proven successful track record of planning, delivering, and evaluating fundraising products and Events to achieve a good return on investment
Experience in relationship management and stewardship
Excellent copywriting skills, with the ability to tailor content to different audiences
Planning and project managing multi-channel fundraising marketing campaigns, including paid digital
Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team, solving problems effectively and identifying new opportunities for Crisis
