Role requirements

As a Community Care Worker you’ll have an ability to provide care delivered with compassion and enthusiasm, while contributing positively to an individual’s physical and emotional wellbeing. You’ll need:

• At least 6 months experience of caring professionally or for a loved one in the UK
• The ability to comfortably assist clients with limited mobility
• A valid Moving and Handling certificate
• The right to work in the UK
• It is highly desirable that you have experience supporting with PEG care and Tracheostomy care.
• Applicants will need to have access to a UK Manual Licence for this role.

This role has a variety of shifts available including 9am to 3pm and 9pm to 7am.

As part of this position, you will be caring for a teenage male living with a learning disability and severe global developmental delay. You will be supporting him with all aspects of care including personal care, peg care, hydration and nutrition.
