Location of Role:The Vyne School
We are looking for a reliable, trustworthy and enthusiastic person to provide community users of our facilities with the best in customer and caretaking support. This role requires someone capable of working on their own initiative as it will entail lone-working.
The successful candidate should have excellent interpersonal skills and will be required to meet and greet customers as a key part of the role.
The Vyne Community School is set in beautiful grounds and has excellent facilities which are available for community use including; 3G artificial pitch, grass pitches, sports hall, dance studio, function halls, classrooms, and hardcourts.
The role involves unlocking and locking rooms and facilities, attending to reception, some manual handling of equipment, various housekeeping and cleaning tasks to maintain facilities to highest standards and keep them free from potential health and safety issues. The job may also involve handling small amounts of cash.
You will act as keyholder and unlock and secure the premises during bookings. Full training will be given.
The expected hours are 08:15 – 15:30 on Saturdays with flexibility to provide cover for staff absences. There will also be opportunities for additional evening shifts.
