About us
In Camden we are committed to working together to make our borough the best place to live, work, study, and visit. Partnership with our communities is central to the way we work, so that everyone can access opportunities, and nobody gets left behind. Here’s where you can help decide a better future for us all.

The role
Community Safety Enforcement Officers are at the forefront of addressing anti-social behaviour and environmental crime in Camden, ensuring the safety and well-being of residents and businesses. With responsibilities ranging from investigating cases and enforcing statutory powers to providing guidance and support, this role plays a vital part in maintaining public safety and enhancing the community's overall quality of life.

As a Community Safety Enforcement Officer, you will exercise discretion and diligence in managing a diverse range of issues, utilizing your expertise in legislative processes and best practices. From responding to complaints and issuing penalties to supporting legal proceedings and aiding in emergency response, your dedication will contribute significantly to creating a safer and more secure environment for everyone in Camden.

About you
We're seeking pro-active individuals who are deeply committed to community engagement and share our enthusiasm for achieving Camden's ambitious goals outlined in 'We Make Camden'. We're looking for candidates with a proven track record of using enforcement and intervention-based approaches to address neighbourhood challenges and improve the environment. If you're curious, adaptable, and embrace innovative thinking to drive service improvement, we want you on our team. You'll prioritise collaboration and solution-focused problem-solving, promoting best practices in enforcement and anti-social behaviour reduction. Most importantly, you'll be a dedicated advocate for making Camden a more equitable, diverse, and inclusive borough.
