Community Support Worker

Job Title: Community Support Worker (Balmedie/Potterton)

Job Role:

• Travelling from house to house to support adults in their own home (service user age group predominantly 65+)
• Assisting with personal care (washing, dressing, toileting, dental care, catheter care etc)
• Assisting with preparation and provision of meals, drinks and snacks
• Assisting with medication (prompting and administration)
• Completing the required documentation to a high standard
• Adhering to company policy and procedure

Job Requirements:

• No previous experience required (full training provided in house and online)
• Caring and kind nature
• Ability to lone work and work as a team
• Full UK driving license and access to a car

Work Available:

• Morning shifts (approx 7am until 2pm)
• Evening shifts (approx 4pm until 10pm)
• Permanent and relief work available. Staff who opt for permanent work during the week are expected to commit to permanent work every 2nd weekend
• A shift involves visiting various clients in their own homes. A rota will be provided to follow as each client has an allocated visit time. Visits can range from 30 minutes to 1 hour

Salary:

• £13.00 per hour Monday to Friday
• £15.00 per hour Saturday to Sunday
• £0.30 per mile
