Our residential respite in Ellon provides home from home from home environment for local adults with support needs to enjoy a short stay whilst also affording their family carers the opportunity to have a deserved break from their normal routine, safe in the knowledge that their loved one will be well looked after and entertained through the provision of meaningful activities. At present we support 30 adults with varying disabilities to use this service varying from one night a month to a few months or specific dates the family have asked for. Each respite users experience is based on a plan agreed in advance with them. This is a homely two-bed-roomed service features a communal living room, kitchen/dining areas and bathroom wet room/shower area. We offer a variety of shifts as it all depends on who is staying and what their support needs are. Our service is unique and we also have a sleep-in shift.
